Comment by Peter (Belgium) August 2, 2007 @ 10:20 amWOW guys, you have done such an amazing job to create a way for everyone who couldn’t be here to see this competition! I was here at the comps, but still came and checked your site for all updates, so thank you for your amazing work, and see you next year in Copenhagen!

Pingback by stream of consciousness August 2, 2007 @ 1:54 pmWell done guys! Thanks very much for the fantastic coverage, Top blogging indeed!
I’m sure baristi all around the world will learn a lot more about competition from your coverage, myself included. I’m sure next year will be an even tougher comp as a result. You’ll have helped raise the standards at the top and everyone will feel the effects down the chain. Then we might get a great cup everywhere we go, we’ll all pay more money for better coffee and the big 4 might go bust! Maybe a just a pipe dream!
Big Kudos Guys!!!!

Pingback by Bloggle » Congrats to the World Barista Champion August 3, 2007 @ 4:54 amdont know if Im asking in the right place. does anyone know where or when the full results will be available?
Comment by Sam August 3, 2007 @ 7:26 amThanks to the talented barista competitors and winners, everyone who helped produce these videos and the website administration. Although I watched all of the barista’s videos…I must admit, watching our US National Champion, Heather Perry, was a pure delight. Actions do speak louder than words, and watching Heather create and serve her drinks was both enjoyable and very educational. I will now humbly retire to my espresso bar and practice, practice and practice. Thanks again for shareing these videos.
Comment by Al Sterling August 4, 2007 @ 12:10 amBravo to you SuperBaristi! I applaud your pure passion and professional craftsmanship to transform the face of coffee. Our world needs to witness more outpouring of this intense enthusiasm of espressoism! (Kudos to you too ZacharyZ for being our eyes to witness this first-class world event.) SZ
